| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes this competency in 3D character animation. It is a specialised area of the animation process, which involves bringing animated characters to life. This is also called Anthropomorphism or personification. It is any attribution of human characteristics (or characteristics assumed to belong only to humans) to other animals, non-living things, phenomena, material states, objects or abstract concept. The role or stage actor and character animators are often said to be actors. Character actors breathe life their characters, creating the illusion of thought, emotion and personality. This character animator also has to focus on acting. There are two attributes wholly define a good character acting is believable and interesting. With this idea as an axiom, character animator will try to separately analyze what makes acting believable, and what makes it interesting. The character animator itself will make the animated character have feeling, thinking, reacting, consistency, personality and mood. The person who is competent in 3D character animation shall be able to plan 3D character animation requirement, identify character personality, carry out character acting, prepare scene layout, carry out character animation blocking, movement detailing, character facial expression and lip sync, implement visual effect element and review character animation. The outcome of this competency is to give life to the subject being animated so that the audience believe of has thoughts, emotion and personality delivered through acting. |
