| Penerangan CU | This competency unit describes the skills, knowledge and attitude requirements in the comprehensive radiation sterilization safety system requirements and to ensure the control of recognized hazards to achieve an acceptable level of risk. The radiation worker responsibility Identified based on the awareness of Radiation Protection Program. The person who is competent in irradiation facility safety implementation shall be able to facilitate occupational safety & health practices, implement radiation protection program (RPP), implement security plan and implement emergency response plan (ERP). The outcome of this competency is to provide support and appreciate the comprehensive radiation sterilization safety system requirements and to ensure the control of recognized hazards to achieve an acceptable level of risk. To provide support and facilitate occupational safety & health practices, implement radiation protection program (RPP) and implement Security Plan based on Occupational Safety And Health Act 1994 (Act 514) and Atomic Energy Licensing Act 1984 (Act 304). |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to understand and appreciate the comprehensive radiation sterilization safety system requirements and to ensure the control of recognized hazards to achieve an acceptable level of risk. The person who is competent in radiation sterilization safety system shall be able to coordinate occupational safety & health practice, implement Radiation Protection Program (RPP) and implement Security Plan based on Occupational Safety And Health Act 1994 (Act 514) and Atomic Energy Licensing Act 1984 (Act 304). Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to :- 1. Facilitate Occupational Safety & Health Practices. 2. Implement Radiation Protection Program (RPP). 3. Implement Security Plan. 4. Emergency Response Plan. |
