| Penerangan CU | This competency unit describes the skills, knowledge and attitude requirements in handling non-sterile product prior to radiation process. The non-sterile product is received by lot and product code created upon receiving to track non-sterile product storage. The person who is competent in non-sterile product handling shall be able to carry out non-sterile product receiving, carry out non-sterile product storage, and prepare product scheduled for sterilization. The outcome of this competency is to provide excellent Non-sterile product handling to ensure responsibilities of receiving, inspecting, storing and preparing product scheduled for sterilization requirements are met and prompt action is taken according to Industry Standards, regulatory requirements and International Standards. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to provide excellent non-sterile product handling service by being the first person at the non-sterile product arrival area to receive, identify and confirm customers’ product arrived, inspect integrity and conformance of packaging of non-sterile product, arrange product in un-irradiated storage and prepare product for sterilization prior to irradiation process to ensure customer satisfaction guaranteed and prompt action taken. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to :- 1. Carry out non-sterile product receiving. 2. Carry out non-sterile product storage. 3. Prepare non-sterile product for sterilization |
