| Penerangan CU | Piping system maintenance describes the competencies required to perform maintenance such as repair and replacement of pipes and pipe fittings. Maintenance work in this competency unit is limited to pipe size up to two inches in diameter. Piping system maintenance must comply with piping standards such as ASME B31-3 or API 570. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify piping system fixtures maintenance requirements, perform visual inspection on piping system fixtures, perform piping system fixtures maintenance, perform leak test and update maintenance logbook The outcome of this competency is a well-maintained leak-free piping system. |
