| Penerangan CU | HSE compliance describes the basic competencies required for adherence to offshore HSE standards as well as responding to emergency at the offshore platform and during helicopter flight to and from the platform. It provides an introduction to procedures and techniques that are used in daily platform maintenance activities and in cases of emergency. Competencies required for emergency situations will be addressed more comprehensively in courses such as Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) and Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) which are conducted by authorised training providers. The person who is competent in this CU will be able to comply with HSE requirements, perform basic fire fighting, perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), perform survival at sea and perform helicopter underwater escape. The outcome of this competency is the acquiring of a basic and important understanding on offshore HSE requirements and how to survive in case of emergency on the offshore oil and gas platform or during flight to and from the platform. |
