| Penerangan CU | Sea trials are conducted to measure a vessel’s performance and general seaworthiness. Testing of a vessel’s speed, maneuverability, equipment and safety features are usually conducted. Usually in attendance are technical representatives from the shipyard, classification society. Shipyard personel, owner representative, class surveyor, port state contol (psc) and maker & specialist. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare hull sea trial requirements, conduct ship hull sea trial activities, evaluate sea trial test performance (hull section) and produce ship hull trial report. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the sea trials are conducted in an organised manner where a successful sea trial will subsequently lead to a vessel’s certification for commissioning and acceptance by the owner and classification society. |
