| Penerangan CU | Ship hull construction requires an efficient coordination of a wide variety of different resources & responsibilities of construction activities. The fabrication works include, preparation of fabrication tools, equipment and materials availability, laying off, moulding works, sub assembly fabrication production, structural parts assembly production, joining assembly process, main hull and structure joining. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to Identify ship hull fabrication requirements, verify ship hull fabrication tools, equipment and materials specifications and availability, coordinate laying off and moulding works, coordinate sub assembly fabrication production, coordinate structural parts assembly production, coordinate joining & assembly process, coordinate main hull & structure erection joining sequence and submit ship hull fabrication progress report. The outcome of this competency is ensuring the complexity and variables of a ship’s hull construction are efficiently coordinated according to standards and procedures, which in particular, OSHA and the Classification Society. |
