Penerangan CUThe CU title describes the competency in hygiene risk management. He or She is the person responsible to assess risks associated with health hazards including physical, biological and chemical factors and to develop practical and cost effective control measures to minimize and mitigate those risks. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to analyse risk management requirements, establish health and environmental hazards identification, establish risk assessment, develop hygiene risk control action plan and review risk control strategies to meet the establishment’s requirements. The outcome of this competency is to minimize and mitigate risks associated with health hazards through carefully developed control measures in accordance with relevant legislative guidelines.

Objektif PembelajaranThe person who is competent in this CU shall be able to minimize and mitigate risks associated with health hazards through carefully developed control measures in accordance with relevant legislative guidelines. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:-

3. Establish risk assessment
4. Develop hygiene risk control action plan
5. Review risk control strategies
