| Penerangan CU | Mock Up And Finished Art Work Creation is an activity in the development of ideas / theme / concept to an actual product or services based on a project brief. Mock up is a prototype that provides at least part of the functionality of an actual product or finished art work Purpose of mock up mainly to acquire feedback from internal team/clients. Mock up and finished art work creation here may apply to BTL communication materials such as point-of-sales materials (POSM), packaging materials or ATL materials such as for TV and radio commercials. For POSM, the finished art work may consist of a CD and a colour proof (a colour print-out of the actual colour of the visual to be printed). This also applies for packaging materials with the addition of a mock up version of the actual packaging. Example: if the actual packaging is a paper bag, then the mock-up will be a colour printed paper bag similar to the actual thing. For ATL materials, it is usually CDs or direct transfer of the video or recording. It is important that the personnel is well-versed in the types of finished art works that is required for different types of mediums. He also needs to be able to verify the right colours printed. The outcome of this competency is to deliver the required mock up and artwork based on the project brief. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to deliver the required mock up and artwork basedon the project brief. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- 1. Analyse clients brief 2. Identify client Corporate Identity (CI) 3. Conceptualize ideas for mock up and finished art work creation 4. Handle internal and client approval alignment 5. Supervise mock-up creation up to finished art work 6. Arrange mock up and finished art work for clients approval |
