| Penerangan CU | Aircraft Safety and Emergency Equipment Maintenance is the competency of providing care and services to safety and emergency equipment on cabin in accordance with Layout of Passenger Arrangement (LOPA), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), Components Maintenance Manual (CMM), Overhaul Manual (OHM) and Instruction for Continued Airworthiness (ICA). The aircraft safety and emergency equipment for maintenance is limited to: • Life jacket • Life raft • Slide raft • Emergency Medical Kit • Cabin First Aid Kit • Stretcher • Cabin Fire Extinguisher • Portable Oxygen • Emergency float • Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) • Personal Breathing Equipment (PBE) • Emergency torch light • Crash axe The person who is competent in emergency handling shall be able to identify safety & emergency equipment maintenance requirement, organise safety & emergency equipment maintenance preparation, service safety & emergency equipment and arrange for work card closure. The outcome of this competency is to enable personnel to maintain safety and emergency equipment within timeframe as to ensure availability of equipment during service. |
