| Penerangan CU | Competency Overview: Validate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system port equipment maintenance describe the competency of ensuring port equipment reliability by assessing risks, analysing system data, resolving failures, and optimising maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. 1. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to • Validate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system risk assessment; • Analyse mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system operation and maintenance data; • Optimise mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance cost; • Conduct mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system project management; • Evaluate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system lifespan; and • Facilitate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic training and development. 2. The outcome of this CU is the ability to Perform systematic maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in port equipment through risk evaluation, data analysis, cost optimisation, project execution, and skill development to improve operational safety, efficiency, and reliability. 3.
