This competency ensures optimal system functionality, reduces downtime and enhances equipment reliability. 1. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to • Impose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance safety; • Verify mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system functionality; • Establish mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance checklist; • Identify mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system failure; and • Execute mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system data collection. 2. The outcome of this CU is the ability to Maintain mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in port equipment, ensuring sustained performance, safety compliance, and operational continuity. 3.
