| Penerangan CU | Perform sea water system servicing describes the competency in performing servicing, inspection and repair work on various components of sea water systems installed onboard ships, encompassing activities ranging from routine checks to service and repair components in sea water system. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to service sea chest strainer, service sea water valve, service sea water piping and service marine growth prevention system. The outcome of this CU is sea water systems operate reliably and efficiently, delivering uninterrupted sea water flow without leaks, pressure drops, abnormal noise, or operational defects, and perform within manufacturer’s specifications and required operational parameters to ensure effective cooling and safe operation of ship systems and equipment. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to service sea water systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation, delivering uninterrupted sea water flow without leaks, pressure drops, abnormal noise, or operational defects, and perform within manufacturer’s specifications and required operational parameters to ensure effective cooling and safe operation of ship systems and equipment.
