| Penerangan CU | Perform lift, escalator and walkalator design describes the activities required to design vertical transportation system. The design process is performed by lift competent person grade 1 during the building planning and development phase or during system upgrades or modernization. The activity requires application of engineering principles, analytical tools, and regulatory knowledge to ensure safe and efficient lift, escalator and walkalator installation. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to coordinate design work with architect and structural engineer, perform traffic analysis, design system and specification, develop and endorse design drawing, submit design verification and apply permit to install. The outcome of this CU is the ability to design safe, compliant and efficient lift, escalator and walkalator systems. Also, the person will be able to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, produce compliant documentation, and ensure readiness for installation approval. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to design safe, compliant, and efficient lift, escalator, and walkalator systems by coordinating with architects and structural engineers, performing traffic analysis, and developing technical specifications. Trainees will also be able to produce and endorse design drawings, prepare and submit design verification documents, apply for Permit to Install (PTI), and effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure readiness for regulatory approval and installation Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Coordinate consulting engineer work. 2. Perform traffic analysis. 3. Design system and specification. 4. Develop design drawing. 5. Prepare design verification. 6. Apply permit to install. |
