| Penerangan CU | Perform dialyser reuse and reprocessing operations describes the tasks involved in preparing, reprocessing, testing, and documenting the reuse of dialysers using an automated or manual system, in accordance with infection control standards and facility protocols. These tasks are essential to ensure that reprocessed dialysers are safe, functional, and traceable for reuse in haemodialysis treatment. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to prepare dialyser reprocessing machine, carry out dialyser re-processing activities, and carry out re-processor sanitisation. The outcome of this CU is the safe, traceable, and effective reuse of dialysers, supporting operational efficiency while complying with clinical safety standards and Ministry of Health guidelines. |
