This unit ensures that all crane operations are conducted with precision and safety, covering effective communication, accurate crane movements, adherence to load limits, and compliance with emergency procedures. Applicable across all crane types and routine worksite conditions, this unit emphasises strict adherence to safety standards for every lifting operation. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to implement crane movement activities, implement crane load lifting activities and control crane lifting activities. The outcome of this CU is the safe, controlled, and precise execution of lifting operations, with all equipment, personnel, and load movements maintained within safe operating limits and fully compliant with load handling requirements, site conditions, and crane operating procedures in accordance with SWP. |
