| Penerangan CU | Perform New NDT Capability Development describes the skills, knowledge, and attitude required to develop new Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) capabilities in line with industry requirements. This includes analysing customer requirements for compliance, developing technical specifications for procurement of NDT equipment, and designing appropriate NDT testing facilities to support operations and business growth. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to analyse customer’s compliance requirement, develop equipment procurement specification, and design NDT testing facilities needed for NDT capability expansion or improvement. The outcome of this CU is the establishment of new or enhanced NDT capabilities through proper planning, procurement, and facility design that meet regulatory, operational, and customer expectations. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to lead the development and qualification of new ultrasonic testing (UT) capabilities in compliance with aerospace standards. Trainees will acquire the competence to critically analyse customer and regulatory requirements, develop technical specifications for equipment procurement, and design NDT testing facilities that ensure inspection reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry-specific quality systems. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Analyse customer’s compliance requirement. 2. Develop equipment procurement specification. 3. Design NDT testing facilities. |
