| Penerangan CU | Perform ultrasonic equipment maintenance and inventory works describes perform maintenance and inventory-related activities for Ultrasonic Testing (UT) equipment in accordance with industrial standards, manufacturer recommendations, and workplace procedures. It includes coordinating periodic calibration status, carrying out both preventive and corrective maintenance of UT instruments, and checking inventory levels of essential consumables such as coupling mediums, transducers, calibration blocks, and backup parts. The CU ensures equipment reliability, compliance with quality systems, and operational readiness in a non-destructive testing (NDT) environment. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to coordinate Ultrasonic Testing (UT) equipment periodic calibration status, carry out preventive and corrective maintenance and check inventories and consumable stock. The outcome of this CU is able to ensure that all UT equipment is calibrated, functional, and maintained in optimal working condition with sufficient inventory of consumables to support uninterrupted NDT operations. This includes maintaining records, scheduling maintenance and calibration, reporting faults, and contributing to the overall quality assurance and traceability of the ultrasonic testing process. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to ensure that all UT equipment is calibrated, functional, and maintained in optimal working condition with sufficient inventory of consumables to support uninterrupted UT operations. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Carry out Ultrasonic Testing (UT) equipment periodic calibration status check. 2. Carry out Ultrasonic Testing (UT) equipment preventive and corrective maintenance (PCM). 3. Check inventories and consumable stock. |
