| Penerangan CU | Produce Piping Drawing Package involves producing several key drawings, including the plot plan, equipment layout, piping General Arrangement (GA) drawing, isometric, and detail piping drawings. These piping drawings must be fully dimensioned and labelled following a standardised technical drawing system in compliance with project specification. Additionally, the drawings must be coordinated and integrated with the requirements of other engineering disciplines. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to interpret piping drawings work instruction, prepare piping drawings requirements, generate plot plan drawing, generate piping General Arrangement (GA) drawing, generate isometric piping drawing, generate pipe support drawing, generate detail drawing, review piping drawing and obtain completed piping drawing approval. The outcome of this CU is the ability to produce package drawings within the specified timeline. This includes applying relevant piping design standards, using appropriate symbols, and ensuring the inclusion of safety and operational features in accordance with the project requirements. Drawing package will comply to American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME B31.3 Process Piping) code to ensure compliance and quality. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to produce 3D modelling of a piping system provides an accurate, clash-free design, detailed construction drawings, and material lists, simplifying the drafting process and ensuring smooth fabrication and installation. It enhances design accuracy and helps avoid costly mistakes. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Interpret piping drawing work instruction. 2. Prepare piping drawings requirements. 3. Generate plot plan. 4. Generate piping General Arrangement (GA) drawing. 5. Generate isometric piping drawing. 6. Generate pipe support drawing. 7. Generate spool drawing. 8. Review piping drawing. 9. Obtain completed piping drawing for approval. |
