The simulation involves simulating physical construction activities by linking 3D building models with the project schedule. This process allows visualisation of how construction elements – such as structural works, installations, and sequencing – will be executed over time. It helps identify clashes, optimise work sequences, and evaluate site logistics before actual work begins. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to prepare construction simulation, execute construction simulation, review construction simulation and publish construction simulation. The outcome of this CU is a construction simulation based on work programme. The simulation supports better coordination, risk reduction, and informed decision-making among stakeholders. |
