The person who is competent in this CU should be able to prepare hydraulics system maintenance and repair requirements, conduct hydraulics system inspection and fault diagnosis, perform hydraulics system preventive maintenance, perform hydraulics system functionality test, perform hydraulic system corrective maintenance and record hydraulics system maintenance activities. The outcome of this CU is that hydraulic systems operate efficiently and safely, minimising downtime and reducing the risk of failures through proactive maintenance practices. This leads to improved overall system reliability, compliance with safety standards, and equipping the organisation for any necessary repairs or adjustments, thus ensuring sustained operational excellence and optimal resource utilisation. |
