The person who is competent in this CU should be able to inspect escalator and walkalator pit, perform truss assembly, position truss into pit and install escalator and walkalator accessories. The outcome of this CU is the ability to assemble, set and install escalators and walkalator properly to provide safe, reliable, and effective solutions for moving numbers of people up and down multiple floors, which can be a significant asset for commercial buildings, shopping centres, transportation hubs, and other high-traffic locations. |
