| Penerangan CU | Perform Escalator and Walkalator Testing and Commissioning describes the process of verifying the performance, safety, and functionality of the escalator and walkalator system through a series of tests. These tests are carried out after the escalator and walkalator are installed but before it is officially handed over for use. The goal of escalator and walkalator testing is to ensure that all systems, mechanical, electrical, and safety features, work as intended according to specifications and requirements as per statutory code requirements for operational mode. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to conduct escalator and walkalator pre-testing preparation, inspect escalator and walkalator controller, motor electrical termination & safety circuits, perform escalator and walkalator mechanical adjustment works and conduct escalator and walkalator performance test. The outcome of this CU is the ability to test escalator and walkalator functionality and safe operation to ensures the escalator and walkalator are safe, fully functional, and ready for use. It confirms that all components are working correctly, meets regulatory standards, and minimizes the risk of operational issues once the escalator and walkalator is in service. Proper testing and commissioning help ensure long-term reliability, safety, and efficiency of the escalator and walkalator system. |
