| Penerangan CU | Perform Scaffold Erection Inspection describes the activities and steps required to systematically inspect scaffolding materials, foundations, connections, platforms, edge protection, access, and stability arrangements. This process ensures that scaffolding is safe, compliant with standards, and properly maintained for secure access and use on worksites. The person who is competent in this unit should be able to inspect scaffold foundation, inspect support structure design load, inspect scaffold connection integrity, inspect scaffold working platform, inspect edge protection, inspect access and egress, inspect attachment to scaffold, inspect scaffold stability arrangement, carry out scaffold tagging and prepare erection inspection report. The outcome of this unit is to enable the inspector to confirm that scaffolding installations meet safety and structural standards, thus ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel using the scaffold. The inspector will be equipped to identify and address potential issues, ensuring compliance with Work at Height (WAH) regulations and providing recommendations for corrective actions if necessary. |
