Tajuk CU | Perform automotive communication network diagnosis. |
Penerangan CU | Perform automotive communication network diagnosis describes to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the vehicle’s network systems, such as CAN (Controller Area Network), LIN (Local Interconnect Network), FlexRay, Media Oriented System Transport (MOST) BUS and ethernet network. This requires understanding how these networks facilitate communication between electronic control units (ECUs) and the ability to use diagnostic tools like scan tools and oscilloscopes to identify faults, such as data loss, wiring issues, or module malfunctions. A skilled technician can interpret network signals, diagnose connectivity problems accurately, and ensure seamless communication between systems, supporting optimal vehicle functionality and reliability. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to diagnose Controller Area Network (CAN) BUS communication system, diagnose Local Interconnect Network (LIN) BUS system, diagnose FlexRay communication system, diagnose Media Oriented System Transport (MOST) BUS and diagnose ethernet network. The outcome of this CU is a fully functional, reliable vehicle network where all ECUs and electronic systems communicate seamlessly without data loss, delays, or errors. By accurately identifying and resolving issues, such as wiring faults, module failures, or signal disruptions, this diagnosis ensures that critical systems—like engine control, braking, and safety features—operate in harmony. This precision leads to improved vehicle performance, enhanced safety, and reduced risk of future network-related problems, contributing to overall vehicle reliability and driver confidence. |
