| Penerangan CU | Perform automotive chassis electrical diagnosis to effectively troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues within the vehicle’s chassis systems. It involves understanding electrical principles, interpreting wiring diagrams, and using diagnostic tools like multimeters and scan tools to pinpoint faults accurately. A competent personnel can systematically identify issues—whether due to faulty wiring, connections, fuses, or sensors—and apply precise solutions, ensuring the vehicle’s electrical systems operate reliably and safely while enhancing overall performance and driver satisfaction. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to diagnose Electric Power Steering (EPS), diagnose Anti-lock braking System (ABS), diagnose Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), diagnose Electronic Stability Programme (ESP and diagnose Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The outcome of this CU is all electrical systems within the chassis function reliably and efficiently by restoring full electrical functionality, eliminates any warning lights, and improves safety and convenience features for the driver. This helps prevent recurring electrical problems, reduces unnecessary battery drain, and contributes to a stable and dependable electrical system, enhancing the overall vehicle performance and driver confidence. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning objective of this competency are to enable the trainees to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues within the vehicle’s chassis systems. It involves understanding electrical principles, interpreting wiring diagrams, and using diagnostic tools like multimeters and scan tools to pinpoint faults accurately. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Diagnose Electric Power Steering (EPS) system. 2. Diagnose Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). 3.
