The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to interpret detail drawing, select CNC EDM wire cut machine, set up work piece, set up wire electrode, generate CNC wire cut program, execute CNC EDM wire cut operation, inspect finished product and submit with recording data to superior. The outcome of this competency is to provide excellence CNC EDM wire cut machine operation according to drawing requirement as per company’s policy, rules and regulation |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to provide excellent CNC Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM) Wire Cut operation to ensure the product requirement accepted in accordance to drawing specifications. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainee will be able to:- 1. Interpret detail drawing 2. Select CNC Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM) Wire cut machine. 3. Setup workpiece. 4. Set up wire electrode. 5. Generate CNC Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM) Wire Cut program 6. Execute CNC Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM) Wire Cut Operation 7. Inspect finished product. 8. Submit finished product with recorded data to superior. |
