| Penerangan CU | Perform Steam Boiler Preservation is a process of cleaning, drying, chemical treatment, controlled environment, inspection, monitoring, and storage. This includes dry and wet storage method to protect the steam boilers from corrosion during out-of-service periods. These activities are important to maintain and protect boiler systems during periods of inactivity, ensuring their integrity and functionality when they are brought back into service. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to carry out steam boiler dry storage, carry out steam boiler wet storage and record steam boiler storage activities. The outcome of this CU is the ability to carry out the steam boiler preservation activity in a proper way in accordance with recognised standard and/or good engineering practise. |
