| Penerangan CU | Perform Steam Boiler Water Treatment is a process to treat raw water until it meets boiler feedwater specification for boiler operation. The process involves chemical and components such as a valve, pipes, pumps, tank, pond, sand /carbon filter, softener, deaerator and others. These elements have to be maintained in good condition inline with boiler it self that running in long time. Boiler water treatment is important for maintaining the performance and longevity of a boiler system by managing the water quality. It helps prevent issues such as corrosion, scale formation, and fouling, which can negatively impact the boiler's efficiency and reliability. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to carry out steam boiler water treatment chemical handling, carry out steam boiler external water treatment, carry out steam boiler internal water treatment, check steam boiler water treatment sample and record steam boiler water treatment activities. The outcome of this CU is the ability to operate water treatment component to produce desired quality of water in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations, recognised standards and good engineering practise. |
