The choice of single-camera production (SCP) tools depends on the user’s budget and needs, with options ranging from consumer types such as smartphones and basic DSLR/SLR cameras to professional types like mirrorless cameras and high-end DSLRs, as well as broadcast types such as ENG (Electronic News Gathering) cameras and cinema cameras. It is essential to consider the digital carbon footprint of the equipment used and the sustainability of production practices throughout the process. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to carry out single-camera pre-production activities, execute single-camera production, provide single-camera production technical support and carry out single-camera post-production activities. The outcome of this CU is the successful establishment and execution of a single-camera production setup that meets professional standards, ensuring high-quality video capture, optimal audio clarity and proper lighting, all configured to fulfil the specific project requirements and objectives. |
