Penerangan CUDevelop Electronic Product Design and Specification describes the competencies to ensure new products are developed according to existing production process flow and current market requirements.

The person who is competent in this CU should be able to perform Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA), analyse new electronic product design concept, produce new electronic product multilayers circuit design, produce Printed Circuit Board Assembly design and produce electronic product specification.

The outcome of this CU is developing electronic product design and specification are carried out efficiently and systematically according to DFMEA guideline, PFMEA guideline, VAVE requirements, company SOP, workplace safety and environmental regulatory requirements.
