Penerangan CU | Maintain Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) operations describes regular monitoring, testing and servicing to ensure the system runs efficiently and without errors. This includes conducting routine inspections of PLC hardware such as input/output modules, wiring and power supplies to identify and resolve potential faults. Senior Technician also perform software diagnostics, checking for program updates, logic errors or corrupted data. Backup and restoration of PLC programs are essential to maintain operational continuity in case of failure. Preventive tasks such as cleaning, replacing worn parts and ensuring proper ventilation help reduce downtime and prolong the PLC's lifespan. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to inspect PLC system hardware, configure PLC system settings, maintain PLC system programming code, carry out PLC system testing and debugging and maintain PLC system integration. The outcome of this CU is enhanced PLC system reliability, minimizes production interruptions and ensures safety in automated processes particularly in industrial environments such as manufacturing and process control systems. |
