The electronics components may include but not limited to active components (transistors, diodes and integrated circuits), passive components (resistors, capacitors and inductors), electromechanical components (switches, relays and connectors) and optoelectronic components (LEDs). This process involves precision, technical knowledge and adherence to specific procedures and standards to ensure the complete components on PCB operates correctly and safely in accordance with the stipulated specifications. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to identify electronic components assembly specifications, prepare electronic components assembly tools and equipment, carry out electronic and mechanical components assembly, test electronic components functionality and carry out electronic components assembly finishing works. The outcome of this CU is accurate and effective assembly of various electronic equipment and appliance components according to specified standards and procedures. |
