| Penerangan CU | Penetrant Testing (PT) – Post Emulsifiable Technique Works describes the competency in performing PT works on power generation materials, components and welded constructions using visible and fluorescent post emulsifiable technique. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare PT visible and fluorescent post emulsifiable written work instruction, verify PT post emulsifiable consumables, equipment and accessories against issuance checklist, prepare safety requirements, perform PT works using visible hydrophilic post emulsifiable technique, perform PT works using fluorescent hydrophilic post emulsifiable technique, evaluate PT indications, produce PT report and carry out post-test works. The outcome of this CU is the preparation, execution and recording of PT operation using post emulsifiable visible and fluorescent technique is performed effectively in accordance with approved written work instruction. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcome of this competency unit is the preparation, execution and reporting of Penetrant Testing (PT) – Post Emulsifiable Technique Works is conducted effectively in accordance with approved written work instruction and/or approved procedure. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Prepare PT visible and fluorescent post emulsifiable written work instruction. 2. Verify PT post emulsifiable consumables, equipment and accessories against issuance checklist. 3. Prepare safety requirements. 4. Perform PT works using visible hydrophilic post emulsifiable technique. 5. Perform PT works using fluorescent hydrophilic post emulsifiable technique. 6. Evaluate PT indications. 7.
