| Penerangan CU | Apparel Raw Material Inspection describes the competencies required to inspect raw materials includes fabric and incoming trims such as fastener, labels, patches, ribbons. The objective is to ensure received fabrics and incoming trims are as per specification and met quality standard requirements. The person who is competent in this competency unit (CU) shall be able to comprehend raw materials inspection procedure, type of defects, root cause of defects, quality standards requirements, regulatory and authority bodies requirements, Standard Operating Procedure and company policies. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare documents and tools for raw material inspections, assure handling of raw materials, carry out fabric inspections, carry out incoming trims inspections and review potential safety issues. The outcome of this competency is to ensure received raw materials specification and quality as per buyer approved sample, apparel specification, quality standard requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). |
