A person who is competent in underwater rigging work shall be able to plan underwater rigging operation, select rigging gears and equipment, perform Rigging & lifting activities, perform de-rigging activities and carry out rigging gears storage The outcome of this competency is to ensure safe, correct and appropriate working practices in rigging and slinging activities inclusive of lifting gear selection, application of knot, hitch, signalling and sling angle. |
