| Penerangan CU | Vehicle operations monitoring is the process of vehicle tracking, routing, dispatching, on-board information, security and schedule adherence using an integrated control system with vehicle tracking system software that collects vehicle data for a comprehensive information of vehicle locations. A control system is also used to provide operators with real-time information as to the waiting time until arrival of the next public transport at a given stop, based on the nearest vehicles' actual progress at the time, rather than merely giving information as to the scheduled time of the next arrival. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to update daily event log, check vehicle availability, update vehicle route status, monitor vehicle movement, assist vehicle troubleshooting and coordinate public announcement according to the control system operating manual and operations requirements. The outcome of this competency is to ensure operation efficiency by controlling the vehicle operations and monitoring operations performance to meet operations schedules. |
