| Penerangan CU | Mould set-up is the process of position the mould on the platen then secure it with bolts, clamps. After installing the mould, install the cooling water hose according to the piping diagram, confirm that the mould close and open smoothly. The CU title describes the competency in Mould Set-up. The person who perform this task do the mould installation to the machine before an actual production run. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to check mould to be set-up, prepare tools for mould change, mounting mould to the machine platen and update mould set-up report. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the mould set up job done correctly and to avoid mishandling during the mould setting. Mishandling of the mould will make the production line stop and costly loses. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to ensure the mould set up job done correctly and to avoid mishandling during the mould setting.
