| Penerangan CU | Laboratory Safety, Health and Environment Program Management describes the competency in managing safe and secure working environment and health and safety of molecular biology laboratory personnel in performing laboratory activities as according to laboratory health and safety rules. A competent person in this CU shall be able to conduct biological and chemical safety training, conduct radiation safety awareness training, execute emergency response plan, conduct laboratory safety inspection conduct laboratory risk assessment using job safety analysis and handle hazardous incidents. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that the person shall be able to manage health and safety program proficiently in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standard, safety acts and laboratory safety manual. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to manage health and safety program proficiently in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standard, safety acts and laboratory safety manual. Upon completion of this competency units, trainees will be able to:- 1. Conduct Biological and Chemical Safety Training 2. Conduct Radiation Protection Programme 3. Execute Emergency Response Plan 4.
