Human resources is primarily concerned with how people are managed within organizations, focusing on policies and systems. Human resources departments and units in organizations are typically responsible for a number of activities, including employee recruitment, training and development, performance appraisal, and rewarding (e.g., managing pay and benefit systems). The person who is competent in human resources management will be able to assess human resource management activities, endorse human resource management activities report and update human resource management activities information. The outcome of the competency is to ensure that human resources management are focused on retaining the talent, training and development, professional development, benefit and compensation, and knowledge held by the workforce according to the standard operating procedure (SOP). |
