| Penerangan CU | Cargo Vessel Loading & Unloading Operation describes the competency of hatch and wharf gang skills in handling unloading and loading of cargo on ship. The personnel who aspires to be competent in this competency must attain the following competencies and interchangeably within wharf and hatch in participating in tools box discussion, receive instruction from foremen and signal man for work, execution, assist in preparation of working condition for unloading and loading, stacking/unstacking and positioning of cargo based on stowage plan for loading/discharging, release gear from cargo for unloading, fix gears on cargo for loading, provide hand signal, and shall be able to report in accordance to SOP and port authority requirement. To perform the CU, the competency owner is required to have knowledge and skills in hatching cargo operation and physical fit to perform works. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that stevedores equipped with knowledge and skills to carry out hatching work in cargo operation handling using designated tools and equipment. |
