| Penerangan CU | The switching services assessment competency unit describes the competency required when assessing switching services. He or she is the person to carry out switching services assessment on site or remote access (operation center) when there is a quality and performance issue reported by the users. The person who is competent in switching services assessment shall be able to prepare switching services assessment equipment and materials, perform VLAN diagnose, perform VLAN diagnose outcome evaluation and prepare switching services assessment report. The outcome of this competency is to produce skilled workforce which is able to understand the working structure of a switch and Ethernet technology, able to diagnose and assess the quality and performance issues within the network in accordance with organisational requirements and standard operating procedures |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to assess switching services while ensuring the structure of a switch and Ethernet technology performed in accordance with the given plan and design of the network infrastructure. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- 1. Prepare switching services assessment equipment and materials 2. Perform Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) diagnosis 3.
