| Penerangan CU | Wood identification is the process of examining the anatomical features of wood using specific tests and tools. The process is carried out to ensure that the wood will be treated according to its specifications. Wood identification (ID) process is performed by preparing wood ID kit tools, carrying out physical and structure wood identification, and carrying out burning and foam test. Wood samples (60 species according to FRIM sample box) are used as reference to confirm the woods’ species. This activity is carried out in according to Malaysia Timber Industry Board (MTIB) rules and requirements. |
