| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in Post Welding Inspection. He or she has to arrange and monitor Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Destructive Testing (DT) and Post-Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) activities after welding. The person who is competent in this CU shal be able to identify required post welding activities, witness welding qualification Testing for welding procedure and welders, coordinate Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT), coordinate Non Destructive Test (NDT) and Destructive Test (DT), monitor Non Destructive Test (NDT) and Destructive Test (DT) works activities, determine status of weldment based on NDT and DT reports, monitor welding repair activity and compile post welding inspection activity report. The outcome of this competency is to identify, understand and apply the testing requirements after welding to confirm the integrity of weldment in accordance with codes, standards, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in implementing Post Welding Inspection shall be able to identify, understand and apply the testing requirements after welding to confirm the integrity of weldment in accordance with codes, standards, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Upon completion of this competency unit, trainee will be able to:- • Identify required post welding activities • Witness welding qualification testing for welding procedure and welders. • Coordinate Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT). • Coordinate Non Destructive Test (NDT) and Destructive Test (DT). • Monitor Non Destructive Test (NDT) and Destructive Test (DT) works activities. • Determine status of weldment based on NDT and DT reports. • Monitor welding repair activity • Compile post welding inspection activity report |
