| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in pre sowing preparation. He or She is the person to involve in earlier stage of sowing which include land and required material preparation for sowing activities. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify plots information, perform land clearing, fencing, levelling (if necessary), ploughing, carry out plot layout preparation, perform water piping installation, prepare crops support frame, carry out pre emerge spraying preparation, check germination for parental line (for seed production) and prepare pre sowing report. The outcome of this competency is to ensure land and required materials are prepared for sowing activities according to company and crop requirement. | Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to ensure land and required materials are prepared for sowing activities. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to: - • Identify plots information • Perform land clearing • Perform farm fencing • Perform land levelling (if necessary) • Perform land ploughing • Carry out plot layout preparation • Perform irrigation • Prepare crops support frame • Carry out pre emerge spraying preparation • Check germination for parental line (for seed production) • Prepare pre sowing report |
