| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in magnetic particle testing (MT) operation with central conductor technique. He or she is responsible to perform visual inspection on test surface, apply magnetization and iron particle on welded and engineering component test surface, check magnetising strength, identify and record discontinuity indication. The personnel who are competent in this CU shall be able to perform magnetic particle testing using Dry Particle, Wet particle and Wet Fluorescent with Central Conductor magnetising technique. The outcome of this CU is, the magnetic particle testing is performed with Central Conductor technique and discontinuity indications are detected, identified and recorded as per written work instruction. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The candidate who is competent in this CU shall be able to establish knowledge and good practices in preparing equipment and material MT. Upon completion of this competency unit trainees shall be able to:- • Identify MT -Central Conductor Operation requirement. • Perform Dry Powder MT-Central Conductor Technique (Circular Magnetic Field) • Perform Wet Visible MT- Central Conductor Technique (Circular Magnetic Field) • Perform Wet Fluorescent MT - Central Conductor Technique (Circular Magnetic Field) |
