| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in magnetic particle testing (MT) operation with coil type technique. He or she is responsible to perform visual inspection on test surface, apply magnetization and iron particle on welded and engineering component test surface, check magnetising strength, identify and record discontinuity indication. The personnel who are competent in this CU shall be able to perform magnetic particle testing using Dry Particle, Wet Particle and Wet Fluorescent with Coil type magnetising technique. The outcome of this CU is, the magnetic particle testing is performed with Coil type technique and discontinuity indications are detected, identified and recorded as per work instruction |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The candidate who is competent in this CU shall be able to establish knowledge and good practices in preparing equipment and material MT. Upon completion of this competency unit trainees shall be able to:- • Identify MT -Coil Type Operation requirement. • Perform Dry Powder MT Coil Type Technique (Longitudinal Magnetic Field) • Perform Wet Visible MT-Coil Type Technique (Longitudinal Magnetic Field) • Perform Wet Fluorescent MT-Coil Type Technique (Longitudinal Magnetic Field) |
