| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in magnetic particle testing (MT) operation with head shot technique. He or she is responsible to perform visual inspection on test surface, apply magnetization and iron particle on welded and engineering component test surface, check magnetising strength, identify and record discontinuity indication. The personnel who are competent in this CU shall be able to perform magnetic particle testing using Dry Particle, Wet Particle and Wet Fluorescent with Head Shot magnetising technique. The outcome of this CU is, the magnetic particle testing (MT) is performed with Head Shot technique and discontinuity indications are detected, identified and recorded as per work instruction. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The candidate who is competent in this CU shall be able to establish knowledge and good practices in preparing equipment and material MT. Upon completion of this competency unit trainees shall be able to:- • Identify MT -Head Shot Operation requirement. • Perform Dry MT-Head Shot Technique (Circular Magnetic Field) • Perform Wet Visible MT-Head Shot Technique (Circular Magnetic Field) • Perform Wet Fluorescent MT-Head Shot Technique (Circular Magnetic Field) |
