| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in magnetic particle testing (MT) operation with yoke technique. He or she is responsible to perform visual inspection on test surface, apply magnetization and iron particle on welded and engineering component test surface, check magnetising strength, identify and record discontinuity indication. The personnel who are competent in this CU shall be able to perform magnetic particle testing using Dry Particle, Wet Particle & Wet Fluorescent with AC-Yoke magnetising technique. Perform magnetic particle testing using Dry Particle, Wet Particle & Wet Fluorescent with DC-Yoke magnetising or Permanent Magnet Yoke technique. The outcome of this CU is, the magnetic particle testing is performed with Yoke technique and discontinuity indications are detected, identified & recorded as per written work instruction. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The candidate who is competent in this CU shall be able to establish knowledge and good practices in preparing equipment and material MT.
