This is to ensure the machines operate in safe and optimum level. The outcome of this competency is to ensure machine maintenance is carried out and can be operated in a safe and efficient manner according to production specifications. The person who is competent in this competency unit should be able to comprehend machine functionality, configuration and maintenance requirements. He/she should be able to check maintenance requirements, carry out weft knitting machines maintenance and carry out weft knitting machine functionality test. |
